At Christian Aid I delivered a global external communications plan during a major strategic review and change process - using my calm collaborative approach to keep colleagues, supporters & donors on board. I'm now working with some Church of England Dioceses as they navigate significant change.

I helped Refugee Action's Good Practice and Partnerships team refresh their communication strategy when Covid hit, and led a complete review and refresh of Christian Aid's Brand Strategy that went on to influence the new global strategy. Whilst chair of Stop Climate Chaos Scotland's media group I led a media plan that influenced the 2009 Climate Change (Scotland) Act.

Need a complex message turned into engaging copy?

I've 20+ years' experience of writing for newspapers, magazine and websites, and enjoy the challenge of turning complex ideas into engaging copy, on deadline.

I've been published in national and weekly newspapers and Christian Aid Magazine.

More recently, I've written speeches and content for both not-for-profit and corporate clients through Albright Special, fundraising reports for United Bible Societies. and copy for Leprosy Mission International's new website. 

I've also carried out a verbal brand edit on copy for OMF's magazine Billions.
